VISION 

Realization of the present and next generation Filipino indigenous people who practice and advocates their traditional socio-cultural wisdom and knowledge benefiting from it, proud of their ethnic identity by protecting their ancestral domain sustainability.

MISSION 

Empower the tribal communities with formation that integrates spirituality of stewardship bounty, biodiversity and communal responsibility with scientific research and training that addresses the need for food sovereignty, livelihood and prevention of environmental degradation.


On-going Projects and Completed ones:

1. Adopt a Tribal Community Project – A poverty alleviation project piloted in Kibuya, Barangay cosine, Talakag, Bukidnon, Mindanao Island, Philippines. Partly completed.

2. Promotion of Sustainable Agriculture through Radio – An educational radio broadcast teaching sustainable farming to indigenous communities of Bukidnon. Completed until the demise of the Chairman’s demise in 2012.

3. Improvement of Health in Indigenous Communities – Bringing medical missions to isolated tribal villages. Partly completed.

4. Conducted Arabica coffee seedlings and seed Dispersal Program in partnership with Mr. Jorge Disuanco of Macnut Philippines Inc. among tribal groups of Malitbog, Bukidnon, Dumagat tribes of Gabaldon, Nueva Ecija, Igorot tribe of La Trinidad, Benguet in 2010-2011 and Manobo tribes in Kitawtaw, Davao City.

5. Conducted Good agricultural Practices on Coffee Training among coffee

growers in Oriental and Occidental Mindoro, Palawan in coordination with the High Value Crops Development Program of Region IV A and Region IV B from 2013-16.

6. Conducted Good Agricultural Practices on Coffee training among National Greening Program tribal beneficiaries of DENR in Cebu, Bohol, Negros Oriental in coordination with the Agricultural Training Institute Region VI of the Department of Agriculture in and Local government of Tuburan, Cebu 2017-2018.

7. Conducted Good Agricultural Practices on Coffee Training “ Integrated Pests and Diseases and Plantation Management of High-Value Crops” among Technical Staff (NGP focal persons) of the Department of Environment and Natural Resources last February 6-8, 2018 at Sea Dreams Resort, Dauin, Negros Oriental.

8. Conducted a 2 day training on “Learning event on Expanding Forestry Investment opportunities for women in the Philippines” in coordination with the Forest Management Bureau of the DENR last November 21-23, 2018 at Linden Suites, San Miguel Ave. Ortigas Center, Pasig City.

7. Participated as a Non-government Organization private sector representative to the Philippine Council for Agriculture and Fisheries in various policy and legislative activities concerning the commercial crops vis-à-vis affecting the lumads and indigenous peoples of the Philippines from 2014 to date (2020).
